THE NEXT OF KIN SCHEME
If you were suddenly taken ill or involved in an accident which ended up in you being hospitalized here in Spain , or even if a fatality occurred, would the Spanish authorities be able to find out easily whom to contact on your behalf?
We at HELP VEGA BAJA have devised a scheme where we hold your personal details securely on file at our offices, and provide you with a card which you carry together with your normal ID document. This card gives instructions in English and Spanish for the finder to get in touch with us, so that we can contact the next of kin , close friend or solicitor you have chosen to represent your interests.

Emergency LineThe volunteers who man our 24 hour emergency line both day and night respond to a variety of calls. Typical enquiries are ‘what to do when a death occurs’ – They are also asked what to do when someone is taken ill in the night, or has been robbed. Other calls include enquiries about loss of passports and for locksmiths. To obtain the numbers of the volunteers on duty when the office is closed just call 966 723 733.
