  Welcome to HELP VEGA BAJA                

HELP VEGA BAJA is a registered charity which aims to provide help all year round to anyone in their time of need.

We maintain offices in Torrevieja and San Miguel de Salinas from where we provide both residents and visitors with a wide variety of local advice, such as information on Residencias, Padron De Habitantes, car registration, procedures on death.

The offices also act as a point of contact for anyone seeking local information on English speaking services and trades people.

We stock a large range of Orthopaedic Equipment and can provide this for hire at a very reasonable price.  

We provide a team of Hospital visitors who attend the Hospitals at Vega Baja and Torrevieja three times a week to contact the English speaking patients.  

We have a Friendship Centre that provides a meeting point and social environment for many who would, otherwise, be housebound or isolated.

We can help when there is a death in the family, our Volunteers being well versed in all aspects of such events and are able to give advice as to the procedures to be followed in such circumstances. We also have Fact sheets outlining these procedures.  

We have a register of volunteer drivers who can, in an emergency, provide transport to and from hospitals for a small fee. 

We also have a register of locally based translators, nurses and carers who provide their services for a fee.
