As you will probably already be aware, the Spanish government has declared a "A state of alarm". Please see the attached newspaper (the link should come up in English).

All bars and restaurants will close from 12 o'clock midnight on Friday 13th March. Supermarkets Farmacias and Petrol stations will remain open.

It is with deep regret that HELP Vega Baja has no alternative but to follow the intructions received from the Government and  close until the situation improves. If it is possible, we will "man the phones" but there will be very little that we will be able to do sadly at this time. Please continue to follow us on Facebook  for information. The Elective Committee will keep in contact and any relevant details will be passed on to you.

On behalf of us all at HELP Vega Baja, please keep safe and if you have a neighbour who is vulnerable, please if possible, just knock on their door and ensure they are ok and have food and water available to them.

Michele Masson, President, HELP Vega Baja

  • Membership

For 40 years HELP Vega Baja has worked hard to support those people who have chosen to live or visit Spain.

In recognition of those who continue to support the association in this work, the committee has developed a number of benefits specifically for its members and becoming a member or renewing an existing membership could not be simpler! The cost of an annual membership is just €10.
